Chapter Twenty-Six

Missy woke up and being horny as hell she went for a ten mile run before breakfast. She didn’t want to complain to Mike and kept the stream of consciousness thoughts she did send to him relatively void of any reference to how badly she wished she could be up there making mad passionate love in bed with him. She did plan to do exactly that the following weekend. Classes would be over then and she would merely need to get ready for exams which, thanks to how well she’d been doing all semester, would not be that difficult or require much effort.

At breakfast, Matti and Tracy were gone but her other former roommates were all there. Since Troy, like Mike, was busy with finishing up his school year at Colgate, Sally had not gone anywhere. Sharon and Karen both had fiancés who had not come to visit, so they also were there. And then Kelsey, who would no doubt hook up with Mitch later at one of their secret spots at the academy, was there as well.

Since much of the conversation while they were eating was about what their respective soulmates were doing and why these men weren’t there, Missy’s achy female parts were once again reminding her how needy she was and how badly her libido, to use one of Tracy’s recent descriptions, needed to be assuaged. Unfortunately, that would not be happening so Missy announced she would be heading over to use the swimming pool. Did anyone want to join her?

Even Sally, who was on the swim team, said sorry. No, they all wanted to study and finish up whatever papers they needed to complete. So Missy went over by herself and tried to deal with her nagging urges by swimming laps, back and forth. After an hour of that, she gave up. Fortunately, she had long ago learned how to exert whatever controls might be needed on herself. Having the dual nature which she did always required that she do that. Thus, she would prevail.

Missy spent the rest of the day in her room, finishing her final paper on Counterinsurgency Operations and all her homework assignments. She skipped lunch in order not to be distracted but she did join the others for supper. Rather than eating in the academy’s mess at Washington Hall, they all met over at Cullum Hall instead for pizza. Missy loved pizza and had been looking forward to that all day.

They sat at their usual table over there and while enjoying their food, they reviewed how far they had all come during their three years at West Point. When any of their male classmates came over, the girls sent them away declaring they had opted for a “ladies’ night”. That led to several female classmates then joining them. The night soon became all about “girl power” and how attending West Point had helped them gain independence, confidence and strength. They were empowered and their self-esteem was now off the charts.
